The Russinger Road

Thank you for taking a moment to read this ’support section’ of the Russinger Road.

Anyone adapting to a life of raising financial support in the name of compassion can stir questions within a perspective donor. Even more so in our economic climate and somewhat cynical culture. With that said, we want to throw out some questions and answer them hoping to lessen any concern on the one hand and cement possible commitments on the other.

1. Will my monthly gift go directly to you or through JustOne?

100% of your gift goes directly to JustOne, the organization I co-direct,  guide, and serve people through. This does 2 things; it allows you the donor to receive a tax deduction on your monthly gift(s), and it allows every gift(s) to be secured through the right accounting and accountability process that JustOne has in place.

2. In committing to this monthly investment how will this help expand the overall efforts of social mercy?

When you decide to gift us financially it releases Michele and I to put our full foot forward in creating a justone world. We will work towards furthering the Laundry Love and Trashcan Initiatives throughout the US by creating additional JustOne Hubs, solidify and encourage the amazing work done through our current Hubs, and pursue foundation and grant money to under write all the costs associated with these and other projects as well as the overall expansion of JustOne. We will continue our efforts in raising the voice of awareness, establish networks and partnerships to develop more safe houses for slavery survivors in the US, and mobilize everyday people to help live for the end of this modern day bondage. We will continue to live for one life changed, restored, and given the opportunity to exist with dignity, worth, and respect. With each opportunity we will shape those of every generation, gender, ethnicity, religion, and economic scale towards living a consistent rhythm of compassion and social concern for neighbor, city and world. And lastly there’s the whole side of guiding the organizational efforts (Board, distribution, campaigns, speaking, volunteers, staffing, etc etc) thankfully there are some amazing people/friends who partner with us, but its amazing the amount of time and funds needed for the overall endeavor.

3. How will we be updated? And whats the best way for us to give our financial gift?

First, please sign up on the home page to receive our ‘roadside’ updates. Second, we will send out quarterly family journals  sharing our inward and outward travels, and giving updates on the efforts of JustOne. You can always travel with us through our written and sometime video weblog found here.
